Safe Neighborhood?
On Saturday, Karen came in and told me about two Grackles, young ones who couldn’t fly who were on the neighbors’ front yard. She told me their mother was in a tree and each time she attempted to get closer to look at them, she would start loudly chirping at her.
I thought they would make a great picture.
When I went out, the mother bird was still there and from the very minute I stepped out of our house, she started chirping….loudly chirping at me. She would fly from tree to tree, and never once stopped the noise. I really didn’t want to get too close, so I just stayed on our driveway and looked for the two young Grackles. I found one, but never saw the other one. I have a feeling that he/she was where I couldn’t see him/her towards the front of our neighbors’ house that is not visible from our driveway.
It was another hot Arizona day, and you really felt the heat when you stood so the sun light hit you. I used our neighbors house to block the rays of the sun while I attempted to take a picture or two.
I got a couple. Not what I wanted, but here’s one that shows a very young Grackle, who is just about to be able to fly. Lucky for him/her…his mom is nearby and it’s a safe neighborhood.
Friday’s Lunch.
Yesterday, my wife and I went out to lunch at Red Robin.
We go because the people there are very nice to us, and the food is consistent. Not only is it consistent, but it is good.
I had a 5 Alarm Burger. With jalapeños and it was just what I wanted. Take a look.

Today, I received an email from Red Robin, inviting me to have a Happy Burger Day…..as my birthday is coming up soon.
Now that’s going to put me in a pickle, as there are several burgers there that I enjoy.
Dolly might bring rain.

It appeared over night.

Neighbor’s Flowers

Hello world!
This is the first blog under the banner Norm’s Notes. I will use the blog as a place to have other thoughts and another place to show off my pictures and maybe my videos. Time will tell.
