Wild Life in Arizona

There is all sorts of Wild Life in Scottsdale.
Horses and Riders - Scottsdale Arizona.
Horses and Riders near the intersection of Camelback and Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Look what we saw here in Arizona.
Look what we saw sunning himself on Chaparral Lake here in Scottsdale.

Shimmering Scottsdale Lake.
This afternoon, 10/07/2008, Karen and I spent some time at Chaparral Lake here in Scottsdale. There was a nice breeze that made the temperature feel cooler than it was. We enjoyed it very much.
Take a look!

Arizona Clouds from a Year Ago.
This picture was taken almost a year ago after lunch at Red Robin at the Tempe Market Place….
Even after a good lunch,I don’t think they look any different than if I had taken the picture prior to lunch.
What do you think?
Never done this before…
Here in Scottsdale there has been a race for Mayor. It has the incumbent facing a council member.
I’m not going to bore you with the details, but the incumbent, although it’s a “nonpartisan” election is in thick with the Democrats and as I call them, the local “fat cats“.
Us little people are the last to be considered.
Anyway, I decided that this year I would put a sign in our front yard showing our support for the other candidate.
I emailed the campaign website and said I would like a sign. Low and behold, the other morning when I opened up the blinds in the front window, there it was….in our front yard. No one came to the door, it was apparently just quickly placed in the yard and on they went to place another one. I guess.
This is the very first time I have had a political sign in our yard.
So far, I’m glad it’s there.
As far as I’m concerned it will stay there until November 4th, election day. If he wins, and he won in the election held a little over a month ago, but because of local rules on elections “didn’t have the necessary percentage” to claim victory, might just leave it there to gloat.
