Memorial Day 2010
Getting up this morning, I took a moment to pray to God about those men and women of the American Services who have protected the peace of the World and upheld the Freedom of this country. I am very thankful for all that they have done.
To me, it’s very humbling.
While I don’t think today that those thoughts will not be far from my mind, especial with several emails coming that remind of the importance of today from people just like you and me, and I have had one from Arizona Governor Jan Brewer as well.
That got me thinking about a Memorial Day Parade I went to back in Denver. It was just before I came to Arizona for High School, so that was a long time ago. Those were the days as a kid I had acne, and was a little embarrassed by it. But, even then, I seem to take things in stride, after a little time of letting it get to me. Happy that I don’t today have a need for adult acne treatment.
I loved going to downtown Denver to see Parades. There was something special about being there on the sidewalk with all the tall buildings on either side.
It was exciting to me, when the American Flag would be carried by an honor guard, I can remember standing up and putting my hand on my heart, to salute as it was marched by.
We are blessed to live here in the United States.
Water, Water, Water EveryWhere.
Yesterday afternoon, May 27th, Karen discovered a water leak that was sending water from where our Hot Water Heater is across the hall into the living room.
About an hour later, the plumber determined the the heater wasn’t leaking, but the pipes behind the Kitchen Sink and Dishwasher. To the point that would mean the kitchen cabinets would have to be removed and the wall dried out.
So now our kitchen is blocked off from the rest of the house and there are two fan/heaters in there drying the room and wall out.
The kitchen right now could be classed as a top fat burner, as with the AC vent blocked and the two doorways blocked off, the temp in there is hot to say the least.

Yes, those are French Fries on the table, dinner came from IN/out Burger last night. We cant use the sink or dishwasher and I don’t want to cook anything on the stove.
I would fry in there.
Me and My Computer.
Here if your are interested is a link to a web site www.supplementcritic.com/creatine-supplements . I spend some time on the internet daily and find that it’s fascinating with all the things that you can find there.
I tend to look at Video Cameras, Film Cameras, Microphones, Amateur Radio Antennas and gear, and news items. But I have to admit that I every once in awhile come across other sights that are interesting.
Then again, the items I listed still come out on top.
Norm’s in Pain.
Lately I have been having some acupuncture treatments because I apparently have pinched a nerve that is causing Pain in my Right Shoulder and arm.
It’s not fun.
So yesterday, I was in my Doctor’s office, waiting in the lobby. While waiting to go in for my treatment, I couldn’t help but over hear a couple talking, quite loudly in fact about all sorts of things including Clinicallix Reviews .
It was at this point that I was asked to come in for the treatment, so I didn’t hear what they had to say. I guess, to be honest, I shouldn’t have been listening in the first place.
Sign of the times.
I was watching TV the other night and there was an ad for credit cards for bad credit .
I punched the mute, and left the room to get something to drink. While I have not been always living in the Lap of luxury, I have never, at least in my mind had a bad life.
Paying my bills when they came due was always my goal. I’m not going to fib, there were a few times, quite a while ago when I missed a payment, but I was always able to make it up and pay any penalties.
That to me was the right thing to do.
They are Gone.
Lost ended Sunday night.
24 ended Last night.
And I, wanted to learn more about both.
I thought it was great to get to know more about the actual actors from Lost and how they felt about the characters they played. Considering the number of years Karen and I watched the show they really felt more like guests who have been in our living room at least once a week. And they were more like friends than characters.
How did I feel about the end of Lost? Didn’t end the way I thought it would. Am I upset by that? I don’t think so, just wasn’t what or how I would have had it end. But I can accept it as it ran.
24, ended just the way I would have wanted it to.
I was glad, and I know this is bad of me to say, to see Logan die. He was a coward. And sold this country short. (Don’t go there Norm). But he did.
President Taylor showed us someone who realized her mistakes and had the courage to own up to it and take the consequences.
Jack Bauer, he too had not changed. The type of individuals we need to stand up and protect this country.
Yes, I know that both were just entertainment, and not real, but why can’t we see the truth in what we watch on TV.
Lord knows we don’t see it, especially lately in Washington.
Trains
I have always had a passion for trains.

I want to build.
For a house in the city, we have a good sized back yard. And when we think of adding to our house, our first choice would be there.
In my mind, adding a new Master Bedroom suite with Large Walk-in Closet, Bathroom and Laundry Room would be the way to go. I have also been thinking of adding an office for Karen with at least one, maybe two walls of glass to use the Arizona Sun to it’s fullest.
We all ready have a Patio back there, and there is enough room to build around it and I would certainly look at outdoor fireplaces . Adding one would be a welcome addition to our house.
My only question at this point, do I have a RICH Uncle who thinks of me as his favorite and is in his 90s?
