It’s been awhile.
Several months ago, my wife’s parents came to visit. We have a small house and to be honest, no room for visitors. But a friend of ours suggested and then loaned us his 5 Wheel Trailer for them to stay in. He didn’t even ask me to get 5th wheel insurance .
Looking back on their visit, it worked out very well. The trailer was parked on one side of our driveway, so it didn’t get in the way of us parking our van as we normally did.
I remember their visit as being a lot of fun, and we didn’t feel that we were on top of each other.
Back from the Stop Sign.
For the second day in a row, I have walked down to the end of the block, hit the Stop Sign and walked back.

It’s something I was doing every morning several months ago then I quit. I really think I quit the daily routine of walking because it was not fun when the temp here in Scottsdale was over 110 degrees during the summer. But today and yesterday it was a very enjoyable 72 degrees.
At my wife’s birthday party and at church on Sunday I notice several people that had Iphones. At the party I took a couple minutes to talk with one individual about her phone, cause to be honest, I have never had an opportunity to see or use one. It had a lot of features that in addition to allowing one to make phone calls, there were many just plain fun things that you could do with it.
Although we talked about all the many features, our conversation never centered on the iphone warranty . When I purchase a piece of gear, I like to know what kind of warranty it has.
I still have just an ordinary “cell Phone”, that can make and receive calls, and absolutely nothing more. For me, that’s enough.
I miss my Camcorder.
For at least 10 years I owned and used a camcorder . During that time, at least once a week, sometimes daily I would be using it and enjoying every minute.
I started with a very simple camcorder and worked my way up to several professional models from Sony and Panasonic. Then in 2005, I had to decide if I was going to stay as a professional videographer .
I picked the later.
And there hasn’t been a day that has gone when I missed having one.
What to do?
If you know some one who is looking for work, you might suggest that they look at a medical assistant school .
I can’t tell you from my own experience, but it just seems to me from the people that I have been exposed to in the past few weeks, that it would be a good line of work.
It also seems to me it would not be that effected by changes in the economy, although let’s be honest all employment fields have been effected since November 2008.
Loved My Tricycle.
One of the things I remember from Denver is all the time I used to spend going up and down the street in front of our house on my Tricycle. I love it and riding on it. As I grew older, that love transferred to a two wheeled bicycle , and finally to a Red English Bicycle with brake handles on the Handle bars. Now there was a bike. It and I saw more of Denver than I think I saw with my Chevy Corvair

But the kid on the tricycle would have loved to have had something from Peg perego .
It was so much fun to walk home from School and then pull out the tricycle and peddle it up and down the streets around my house until the Sun went all the way down.
Overheard.
I was sitting in an office last week and overheard two women talking and one said to the other that she had to learn more about cissus quadrangularis .
About this point Karen came into the room and it was time for me to leave and bring her back home.
The conversation never went to what I had overheard, we just talked about what she had been told while she was in the Doctor’s office.
Once home, I move ahead and started looking at stuff I like.
One Visit.
Christmas, if you think about it is not really that far away. No question we still have Halloween and Thanksgiving but it’s not that look until Santa will be coming down the chimney.
Back before I got married, and this is a long time ago, I was really good about Christmas shopping, I would know exactly what I was going to get, and about 5 days before Christmas would go to the one store that had the item and buy as many as I needed for members of my family. They all got the same thing.
Now, I wouldn’t even have to leave the house, as it would be so much easier sending Christmas gifts online .
It’s some what sad to note that do to age, the number of gifts I would have to purchase is down, as many in my family have passed away.
Here I go again.
Even though there were a lot of things going on last week, and I didn’t spend as much time in front of the computer as I might have wished. Another day and Here I go again.
I remember as a teenager there were times in my young life that I wanted to know how to get rid of acne Fast . Now it wasn’t that I had a really bad case, I just didn’t like the few that I had.
Celebrate !
I have reason to CELEBRATE today and I just might order some Rocky Patel cigars and pass them out.
I’m writing this post Friday Morning October 15, moments after receiving a phone call from my wife who is in the hospital. She called to ask me to bring some items to her, and then said that she most likely would be coming home sometime, later today.
That to me is a Great Reason to CELEBRATE . I find that the house is soooo quiet with her not here. Not that she is noisy, but I can feel that she is not in the house. Guess that’s what happens after almost 12 years of marriage.
One of those days.
This morning my wife woke me up just after 3 AM, asking that she be taken to the hospital as her heart was racing. She was in the ER room within 30 minutes. That might not seem fast to you, but it was considering she is in a wheelchair and I had to get dressed, dress her, and then drive to the hospital.
Once in the ER, one of the first things I noticed was a barcode scanner , there in the area where my wife was examined. They put a name tag on her wrist, and took the scanner and ran it over the tag. I guess they were checking to see if the correct information that had just come from their computer had been issued on to the tag.
I also notice in room she went to in ER, each person who came in, check the tag with portable scanners.
I have to tell you, I really don’t like going to hospitals, even with all the fun techno stuff they have.
