UpDate the House
My wife and I are all ways thinking about updating our house. We have had to re do our kitchen because of a leak that more or less ruined the cabinets. I how ever like to consider changing items in our house, even though they are working well and look good.
While fixing the kitchen was the latest, it hasn’t been so long since we replaced the ceiling lights in our dinning room. To be honest, there was nothing wrong with the light over our dinning room table, I just felt like changing it, so that’s what I did.
Some times, I just get the urge to make a change in our house.
Aniversary Coming Up.
In just a couple of days my wife Karen and I will be celebrating our Wedding Anniversary.
It was back in January of 1999 that we were married. She has put me in charge this year of what we will do to celebrate. But, I need to get her something, don’t you think?
I think she would look good in rain boots , but it doesn’t rain that often here in Arizona, and she gave up even wearing shoes several years ago.

Last Coke
Yesterday on one of my blogs I commented on the fact that I was drinking my last 12 oz can of Coke.
I have always been a big fan of Coke, since my days growing up in Denver. My parents tried to limit the number of bottles (back then) I could have, but to be honest, I found ways to work around them.
If it wasn’t easy for me to give up Cokes and eating fating foods, I would be quick to look on the Internet for alli review if I were going to start a D I E T.
I’m Lucky.
Even though I find sometime it’s hard for me to stand for more than a few minutes or walk long distances, I’m not bothered by other “problems” that men my age normally are.
If I were, I would not hesitate a minute from looking into testosterone boosters if I needed help.
As a young boy, I found that I had very poor eye sight and it did not bother me one bit to wear glasses. I needed them, they helped me, so I wore them. I might have been called names…”Hay 4 eyes”, but I really don’t remember. I guess if I was, it didn’t bother me that much.
Norm’s Last Coke.
I am sitting here, looking at the last Coca Cole can that I have here in the house. It’s red and white, has 12 OZ of that wonderful beverage that I just love so much.
I want to lose some weight.
I mention this to a friend yesterday and he suggested that he knew of weight loss pills that work .
My answer to him, was that I believed him, but before going to his pills, I would use Norm’s don’t drink Coke plan. It has worked for me every single time I stop drinking cokes on a daily basis. Now that means not cutting one can from my daily routine, but a minimum of 3 or 4.
You count of the calories that that alone eliminates from my intake.
Thinking about it.
A new year, and We are thinking that we might apply for a credit card with a different bank.
Every once in a while, it doesn’t hurt to look around at the services provided by the banks, local and National and compare one against the other. Several years ago we were surprised to find out that the bank we were then with was really hitting us hard with fees and monthly charges and that a change would bring our costs monthly down to zero.
So, we made the change. Now I’m looking to see if I can do it again.
Sailing.
I grew up in Colorado. Moved to Arizona. Spent a little time in Florida, and California, but never really had a desire to spend time on or in a boat.
I did take a cruise once. I didn’t mind it that much, in fact kinda of enjoyed it, and in part cause my THEN wife got sick as a dog as soon as the ship started to move and spent the cruise in the cabin. (I don’t think of her much, but the way she reacted to the cruise stuck out in my memory…one of the few things of her that does.)
I spent my time, wondering around up on deck. I think I was gigging looking out at the rolling sea and thinking of her down below.
I’m sure had she known how I felt, I would have been in need of a Maritime Injury Lawyer, cause she could be vicious.
Lucky for me….it was hard for her to even stand.
It still makes me Laugh.
In fact, right now, just the thought makes me laugh
Wife Likes it.
It hasn’t been more than two weeks that my wife has had her ipod touch, but there isn’t a day that goes by that she doesn’t tell me of something else about it that she likes.
At least once a day, since she got it she comes back to my office or while we out having lunch, or while a commercial is on while we are watching the few TV shows we watch at night, that she tells me about one of the features and why it makes things easy for her.
Kinda makes me want one too, but I have a cell phone and only take it with me to make emergency calls should we need to.
Snow.
I noticed that at least one of the Mountains around Phoenix/Scottsdale had Snow on it Thursday of this week, but I didn’t take a camera with me until today.
While we actually can’t see it from our house, ( could if we stood on the roof and looked to the NE) but that’s a little hard to do.
Here is a view from half way between Scottsdale and Tempe on Hayden.
