Who to send Flowers to?

With my mother passed away, I have a simple question, who to send flowers this Mother’s Day .

I guess I should join with my wife and send them to her Mother.  That sounds like a reasonable idea.

There is no one else that fits the bill that is left in my family so it just seems like a very good idea to send flowers to my Mother0-In-Law.  It never hurts to gain points in that department now does it?

My last post was about that I’m a good source of info about where to find information on the Internet. Keeping that in mind what about web hosts.

My I suggest that you look at bluehost, there you might find exactly what you are looking for.  Having a good web is as important and just the fact that you are able to go on the Internet.

Source of Info.

I find that since I spend time on the Internet, I have become a source of information for just about any subject.

If it’s video equipment I can tell you were to look on the Internet.  Amateur Radio gear, ask me and I will tell you. Food on line, I know where you can look.  Even multivitamin for women it wouldn’t take me long to point you in the right direction.

Guess that’s one of the benefits of searching the Internet.

Three down to one.

There was a time when I had 3 computers in my office.  One was personal, one was for duplicating CDs and DVDs, and the 3rd was for editing video.  Now there is only one.

I have a friend who is helping me with my amateur radio transmitter and is going to be connecting it with my computer.  I don’t really know if he will be using vga to hdmi cables or just what to make that connection.

I just know the back of the transmitter has a plug to which you make the connection to the computer and as long as you have the right software in the computer you can use your computer to get on the air.

Allways planing.

I don’t think there is a day that goes by that I don’t think about adding things to our house and especial out in the back yard.  This time of year would be a great time to have a hot tub out back.  It would be nice to also have a hot tub cover because here in Arizona, there are times when it get windy and I don’t want to have to spend my time cleaning out the hot tub, when I could be enjoying it.

I have never been a swimmer, but I have a feeling that I would enjoy a hot tub.

UPS Came Today.

Last Monday I ordered on line a DIN Connector and just before 5 PM today the UPS truck pulled up out front, it’s driver rang our bell and off he went to his next delivery.

Outside our front door were not one but two packages.  The one with the DIN, and one I was not expecting.

I went to the dinning room table and as quickly as I could opened both.  And look what I found.

Here is what I found, the DIN Connector and a Bencher RJ Series Hand Key already ready to go with cable and plug.

It was sent to me, unannounced by Mike Enders, KD8JHJ from Ohio.  Mike and I have corresponded via email, and have been planing to meet on the air.

I have been relearning code, since I rediscovered it the other day when I happen on a code station and found that I could actually hear the different characters.   Now, I just have to relearn what the characters are as far as dits and dashes are concerned.

With “Mike’s” key, I’m going to have to work faster on relearning the code.

Here’s what it looks like in it’s operating position in the KI7UP Ham Shack.

Guest one has to be careful about what he talks about online, No there is no truth that I want a Bentley.

Anyway, they don’t make it as a Wheelchair Van.

Oh Well!

Another Friend…Gone.

It happened this afternoon, Karen came in to tell me that an old friend was leaving.

Our next door neighbor came by with 3 other friends and took his mustang from our backyard.  It has been staying with us for several years.

Karen and I when out, and said Good Bye as it was hauled away.

Live Goes On!

I’m not going to tell Her.

We have had a Hummingbird Feeder in our back yard for several years.  And most of the time we can look out and see Humming Birds feeding from it.  On Saturday, I looked out the Dinning Room window and to my surprise there was not a Humming Bird but a Wood Pecker there, feeding away.

I was not going to tell her that the feeder was for Humming Birds.

She didn’t seem to mind that it was not a Wood Pecker Feeder.

Upgraded our Insurance.

Yesterday I looked on line to see if it would pay to change my insurance company.  I guess you could say I had a nationwide insurance review.   I went online to 3 different companies, other than the one we were with.

Out of the three, I got one quote that brought my monthly insurance payment down all most in half.  That was encouraging!

I have been with the same company for years, I think back from when I lived in Las Vegas, so out of loyalty I called my agent here in Scottsdale.

It didn’t take long, when I got off the phone, I had upped the coverage and lowered the monthly payment.

As it turned out, I didn’t change companies but did improve our coverage, that’s not so bad.

I’m Careful.

Lately when I go out, I’m very careful when walking.  Sometimes I even take a walker that I got after being in the Hospital several years ago.

At church this morning I couldn’t help but see that they have a volunteer crew that makes sure that the floors are kept clean and I would say non slip.

I would guess that the last thing the church would want is someone falling and being hurt.
