Another Friend…Gone.

It happened this afternoon, Karen came in to tell me that an old friend was leaving.

Our next door neighbor came by with 3 other friends and took his mustang from our backyard.  It has been staying with us for several years.

Karen and I when out, and said Good Bye as it was hauled away.

Live Goes On!

I’m not going to tell Her.

We have had a Hummingbird Feeder in our back yard for several years.  And most of the time we can look out and see Humming Birds feeding from it.  On Saturday, I looked out the Dinning Room window and to my surprise there was not a Humming Bird but a Wood Pecker there, feeding away.

I was not going to tell her that the feeder was for Humming Birds.

She didn’t seem to mind that it was not a Wood Pecker Feeder.

I was in our bedroom and looked out the back window and there on the telephone cable coming into our house was the Hummingbird that we have been watching in her nest in our Front Yard.

Low and behold, moments later she was back on her nest out front.

Celebration Soon?

As we have mentioned a few times here and on normradio.com, we have a Hummingbird in the Pine tree in our front yard.  That should mean that in a few days we’re going to be watching a couple of little Hummingbird up in the nest.  I suppose it would be a good idea to order some Davidoff cigars , and have a celebration.

I think this is going to be the first time that little ones in this Seeley house.

Yes, I’m At It Again !

There in our living room I have set up a tripod and my camera and set it on video to record about an hour of our little guest in our Pine Tree.

If you have been reading the blog here, you must know by now that there is a Hummingbird nesting in our Pine Tree.  She is so tiny.  She is so cute.

It’s amazing just to watch her, she will sit there without it seems like moving a muscle, then she will take off in less than a split second.

I just home that if I continue to set up the camera each day, at different times, we will be so lucky to actually capture shots of the new little ones.  That’s what I’m hoping for.

Wish me luck!

What I like about Scottsdale is that there is always something interesting to see.  Each morning when we get up, and open the blinds in our bedroom, something is going on outside that makes me realize how great it is to be alive and able to appreciate God’s work.

Yesterday morning, there on our bedroom window were two bugs….if you look at the picture I have included, it’s obvious what they are doing.  I don’t need to say more.

But that in itself is marvelous.

I for one, am happy to be alive and able to see and appreciate our WORLD.
