Here at our house we have the street address printer on the sidewalk and it’s clearly visible from the street. Also on the beam that goes across our car port is another sign showing our street address.

They both do a good job letting people know what our address is, but I have to tell you, I would not mind a bit, looking at address yard signs .

With such a sign, people would again be able to know the address, while at the same time, be impressed with how much class it added to our property.

I went over to San Diego about 14 years ago, knowing that I was just about to meet for the first time, the woman I was going to marry. With out all the details, it was love at first sight when I saw her picture on line. It was easy for me.

One of the thing we did while I was there was to look at designer engagement rings .

Keeping in mind that I am some 21 years older than my wife, and that I have officially reached Senior Status, I only remember we went out and came back with a ring for her, and I don’t think we spent more than an hour looking.

And that ring, along with my wedding ring never leaves our hands.

It was easy for us. Still is.

We were driving home from Patsy Grimaldi’s in Old Town Schools on Sunday and were stopped by the light at Scottsdale Road and McDowell Road, and I looked to the traffic that was to my left.

Sitting there was a Black Chrysler 300 that was at a complete stop. However the two wheels that I could see, were still M O V I N G, I was unique and kinda of exciting to say the least.

I’m thinking of checking decorsa custom wheels , see if they have 4 for a 2002 Dodge Caravan.

I think it’s about time that people start remembering our 9 year old dirty blue van for something besides being DIRTY.

Maybe it would be fun to have a party that night, and I should sent out Halloween invitations

I have always thought it would be fun to dress up a Halloween to just answer the door for those out trick or treating.

To me, the scarier the better.

We live in an all Brick Building. I don’t remember living in a metal building . Then again maybe I did during High School.

Our house was build in the early 60s here in Scottsdale, not far from Downtown or Old Town Scottsdale. It’s interesting as the original design was with a swamp cooler and despite the fact that there are two layers of brick, there is no insulation.

Since moving into the house we have added some insulation in the attic, and upgraded the windows from single pane to dual pain to help keep down the power bills. But from what we are told, there isn’t much that can be done with the brick walls to the house.

Several years ago we added a Covered Patio to the back of our house. Here in Arizona it’s known to get pretty hot during the summer months. I have to tell you that I have found that even with high temperatures, we do spend time out there on the patio. It does have two fans and they do help. But I’m surprise that it’s not really that bad.

As it works out there are more months available for us to use the patio than just the summer months. Maybe I should consider looking at outdoor fireplaces at an end to the patio. I’m sure it would add to the usability.

I have spent part of the day alone here at home while Karen was with a friend shopping for something to wear for a wedding we’re to attend this coming Saturday.

I really can’t remember another time when Karen has gone shopping with a friend here in the metro Phoenix area. I know when we’re in San Diego she and her Mom take the van and they go shopping. But here, it would be me driving her to the store where she would met her friend and they would shop, and call me when they were done.

Today, I had enough time while she was out shopping to get some cleaning chores out of the way before I went to get her.

It was nice hearing her praise for a job well done when she saw what I had completed.

Have to tell you, she and her friend did a good job shopping too. She got some really cute stuff.
