Yesterday, we were able to see for the first time, the baby hummingbirds in the nest that’s right outside of our front window. Take a look at what we saw.
Saturday Check In.
I was in our bedroom and looked out the back window and there on the telephone cable coming into our house was the Hummingbird that we have been watching in her nest in our Front Yard.
Low and behold, moments later she was back on her nest out front.

New Stuff.
I spent part of today just looking on the Internet and taking a look at all the new cameras that are coming out.
I’m a big fan of video cameras, but also purchased a digital still camera a couple years ago and found that it’s capable of recording almost a full hour of video. Now the video is in the 4.3 format, which is the “standard” video that is more or less old hat. It’s been replaced by 16.9 and 16.9 in HD.

Well those cameras I’m talking about today are DSLRs and are capable of shooting in 16.9 and in HD. They take great pics in 16.9 with a resolution of 10 to 12 mega pixels and HD video as well. One even has the capability of having professional mikes added for audio. The other two have built in mikes that leave the audio lacking just a little.  Of course when you start adding capabilities like that, you watch the prices go up.
One of the cameras is from Canon, one from Panasonic, and one from Nikon.
The camera from Canon has the ability to have professional mikes for audio.
Maybe one of my blogs will tell why this makes a big difference when recording video.
Have a good day!
Norm
