They are Gone.
Lost ended Sunday night.
24 ended Last night.
And I, wanted to learn more about both.
I thought it was great to get to know more about the actual actors from Lost and how they felt about the characters they played. Considering the number of years Karen and I watched the show they really felt more like guests who have been in our living room at least once a week. And they were more like friends than characters.
How did I feel about the end of Lost? Didn’t end the way I thought it would. Am I upset by that? I don’t think so, just wasn’t what or how I would have had it end. But I can accept it as it ran.
24, ended just the way I would have wanted it to.
I was glad, and I know this is bad of me to say, to see Logan die. He was a coward. And sold this country short. (Don’t go there Norm). But he did.
President Taylor showed us someone who realized her mistakes and had the courage to own up to it and take the consequences.
Jack Bauer, he too had not changed. The type of individuals we need to stand up and protect this country.
Yes, I know that both were just entertainment, and not real, but why can’t we see the truth in what we watch on TV.
Lord knows we don’t see it, especially lately in Washington.
